Welcome to my new website and blog!
With the forthcoming release of my new book and the excitement of new open doors, I thought it was time to celebrate with my own space on the internet. One of my main motivations in starting this blog is to give myself a place away from social media to share my thoughts, photos, and life updates.
I hope that the books I write, the blogs I post, and the interviews I do will help you flourish and encourage you to keep going.
Do you ever have dreams you want to chase or new endeavors you want to pursue that seem so daunting that you’re afraid to take the first step? Do you ever feel paralyzed by perfection or fear of failure? What is the number one dream in your heart? What makes you want to jump in and make things better? What creative project are you dying to start?
My encouragement is to take that first step. Buy the camera. Write the first sentence of your book. Reserve that domain name. You are capable of more than you can fathom, but good things require that we step out of our comfort zone. Take a deep breath and take your first step and don’t worry about what’s on the other side. Just put your right foot in front of your left and then your left foot in front of your right. Before you know it, you’ll be walking right into the direction of your dreams.
Honestly, I don’t know what will come out of this blog. I don’t know if this will be my first post of many or my one and only. I just know I need to start it, so here’s my messy first post.
