My wing woman and our COO, Jenna Spradley, who keeps all things running at Wonderfully Made, the non-profit I founded, thought it would be fun to throw a book party. I’m a bit shy, so I suggested it would be more of a celebration of our Wonderfully Made’s 20th anniversary. And then Hilltop Ranch in Lompoc was so kind to host us, so we threw a hoe down! It will go down as one of the most special and memorable days of my life.
If only I had known as a girl who was suffocated by debilitating depression that made me want to end my life, how beautiful my life would be one day. This is why it is my life calling to give girls and young women hope that they can come through any difficult things and that God isn’t done with their story yet.

Our friend Robbie, Central Coast surf legend and owner of Esteem Surf Co., and his band Tin Caravan played folk music.

Kiera Faith is one of our Wonderfully Made musicians, and she has played for several of our young women’s events and even wrote a song titled “Wonderfully Made.” She is one of the most talented young women I’ve ever met and has a bright future ahead of her and has written over 300 songs!

It was so special having our pastor, Casey Groves from Valley Christian Fellowship, interview me. I love his sermons, and he has the best personality and is so well-loved by all who know him.
Below is my wingwoman Jenna Spradely, who serves as our COO. I can’t imagine my life or Wonderfully Made without her. She keeps me from doing stupid things and ensures Wonderfully Made is stewarded with excellence and integrity. She attended a Wonderfully Made retreat when she was 15, so it’s so special to have her on our team.

It was so special to have so many people in our community celebrate with us.

My dear friend Heather Gardner of Malibu Charcuterie created the most beautiful spread for us!

With my dearest friend Bonnie, who is an amazing life coach, speaker, and serves on our board.

My team put together a silent auction from businesses and artists throughout the Santa Ynez Valley.

I’m so grateful for the amazing women who support me like my friends Debbie and Jackie who have faithfully worked our merchandise tables for over 10 years now!

This California girls loves a good trucker hat! I made this one to remind me to live an unplugged and flourishing life!
We have the best team! Me with Bonnie, Jenna, and Bridget!

My people! I have the best parents who have loved and supported me unconditionally my entire life.

There are no words to say how much I love my surf cowboy! To know him is to instantly love him. He filles my life with joy, laughter, and adventure.

There’s nothing like line dancing in a real barn!
